September’s value was excellence, which means we are elite in everything we do.

We are proud to share the nominees who epitomized excellence during September!

Chris Blair, Director of Radio Broadcasting and Voice of the Tigers. Chris has epitomized excellence lately through his contributions to LSU GOLD. He has stepped up to the plate and elevated our podcast offerings through his talent and his professionalism. He is always prepared for every episode, and he makes our entire network better. Jamie Hall, Vice President of Donor Experience & Operations for the Tiger Athletic Foundation. Jamie and her team put on an elite event in New Orleans for donors prior to the football game against Florida State. It was an outstanding venue with entertainment, decor, food, and drinks and the donors were sharing how extraordinary it was! (nominated by Andrea Tepe)

Eddie St-Vil, Director of Training and Leadership Development. It has been great watching Eddie’s impact with our staff members as well as our student-athletes, as he greets them with a smile and a word of encouragement. Eddie demonstrates the skills of meeting people where they are and helping them to get better. (nominated by Shaeeta Williams)

Melissa Weinsz, Director of Student-Athlete Professional Development. Dr. Weinsz was responsible for developing and executing the first HEARD Series of this fall for our student-athletes. She epitomized excellence because of her attention to detail, her desire to impact our student-athletes in a substantial way, her willingness to step outside of her comfort zone and talk about and plan an event around a topic that is challenging for some to discuss, her belief and understanding that DEI issues are not and should not only be tackles by members of marginalized groups.
