November 2022: Core Value Most Valuable Players!
Each month, our team members have the opportunity to nominate each other for the month’s Most VALUEable Player. November’s core highlight value was authenticity, which means we are true to who we are. We are proud to share the nominees who celebrated authenticity during November!
Jamie Tutko, Director of Video and Scouting, The level of competence Jamie brings to the job, combined with his consistent professional behavior is who he truly is. New coaching staff last year and then again this year...he stays who he is. Calm, confident, and competent. (submitted anonymously)
Leighann Westfall, Executive Director of External Relations and Letterwinner Engagement, Leighann shines bright in every meeting, event, and athletics contest at LSU. She has taken what makes LSU so unique and has incorporated it into various aspects throughout the department, including L-Club, Community Relations, and Booster Clubs. Leighann's celebration of authenticity is most apparent when working with one of LSU's most unique traditions and groups, the Bengal Belles. Jill Wilson, Associate Head Volleyball Coach, Jill has a genuine love for LSU and expresses it in her work daily. She is incredibly encouraging, gives clear and consistent feedback, and shows appreciation for everyone she works with. We talk about authenticity as "adhering to and expressing all of our values in all of our actions," and every time I work with Jill or see her working with others, I see all of our values on display.
