November 2022: Core Value Most Valuable Players!
Each month, our team members have the opportunity to nominate each other for the month’s Most VALUEable Player. November’s core highlight value was authenticity, which means we are true to who we are. We are proud to share the nominees who celebrated authenticity during November!
Walt Holliday, Executive Director of Academic Center for Student-Athletes, Walt and his staff do an incredible job of assisting LSU student-athletes in achieving their academic goals. The all-time high of a 92 GSR announced this week is tremendous evidence of their exemplary work. (nominated by Bill Franques)
Michael Strain, IT Analyst, I really admire Mike’s willingness to share his convictions, all of which he has thoroughly researched and not arrived to lightly. I appreciate his contributions to the monthly Lunch and Learns, as well as the random conversations we have in the office. Mike is a naturally giving person, as evidenced by his willingness to help with even the smallest technological issue that arises as well as his cooking which he will occasionally bring in for the rest of us to enjoy! Lois Stuckey, Operations and Facilities Services Coordinator, Lois is no stranger to most of the Athletics Department staff as well as to our student-athletes and fans. Her passion and pride for the purple and gold run deep, as she grew up coming to LSU games with her family. Lois is an LSU alumnus who true to who she is and makes a lasting impression because of the authenticity of her words and her deeds. Her strong Louisiana dialect and her friendly smiles and hugs are the epitome of our unique culture and hospitality. (nominated by Shaeeta Williams)
Andrea Tepe, Chief of Staff, Andrea is always optimistic and cares a great deal about her work whether it was operations with LSU track/field to her current position as COS. She is always a pleasure to be around and has a strength of making challenging obstacles more manageable. (nominated by Bruce Buggs)
