Dial 988
The phone number for the National Suicide Hotline has now been changed to 988.
Previously, the number was the traditional 10-digits long: 1-800-273-8255. A three-digit code is not only easier to memorize, but far quicker to dial.
If you or a loved one are in danger or experiencing a mental health crisis, please do not hesitate to dial 988.
